PMM Files #76 - Comparison Homepages, Clever Clarity, and Explaining Your Lower Price

Read Time: 3.2 minutes

Thanks for reading PMM Files. A newsletter where we share five cool product marketing examples we found last week.

Let's get to it...

Example #1 - Own's Clever Clarity

Within 10 seconds of landing on Own’s homepage, you know exactly what problem they’re solving.

The hero copy, company name, and website URL all tie together into a seamless story. It’s rare to see a company in such a complex space create this level of clarity so quickly.

No wonder Salesforce wants to buy them.

Example #2 - Positioning Your Partner Program

Great positioning attracts the right buyers, but what about partners?

Reveal does this by outlining the underlying foundation of their partner program. It’s an easy way for partners to self-select, knowing exactly what to expect before signing up.

Example #3 - 10 Reasons to Choose Tedy

Making it easy for buyers to buy is one of the best things you can do for your business. Tedy does just that with 10 clear points on why buyers should chose them.

As markets become more crowded, it’s surprising more companies aren't doing this. The faster your buyers know why they should choose you, the faster you hit your revenue goals.

Example #4 - Branch Shows How They Go Low

It’s one thing to say you’re cheaper. It’s another to show how.

Branch’s simple diagram breaks down how they offer lower prices than competitors, making price their key differentiator. The diagram also educates buyers on the office furniture market, helping them understand what they’re really paying for when choosing a supplier.

Example #5 - The Comparison Homepage

When your product is built as the β€œanti-something,” your homepage can double as your comparison page.

DuckDuckGo nails this by positioning itself as the privacy-focused alternative to Google Chrome. It's free, fast, and private.

They also bring a strong POV and educate buyers on the industry: β€œIt’s a myth that companies need to track you to make money.”
